# About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Go Engineer to join our Dubai team. This is a full-time position where you will work on high-performance backend systems and distributed applications using Go.

## Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go
- Build and optimize database solutions with PostgreSQL
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

## Requirements

**Must Have:**
- Strong professional experience with Go (Golang)
- Production experience with PostgreSQL database design and optimization
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

**Nice to Have:**
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
- Contributions to open-source projects
