## Description
**About the job**

- About 30 Sundays30 Sundays is reimagining couples' travel with digital products that make trip planning and management effortless. From discovery to itinerary building and real-time support, our mobile app helps couples enjoy every step of their journey together. We're backed by InfoEdge Ventures, Eximius Ventures, and First Cheque. Our founding team brings experience from Apple, BCG, IIT, and IIM.
- About the RoleYou'll be the first designer at 30 Sundays. That means you won't just design screens, you'll define how the product looks, feels, and works. You'll set the design culture, build the design system from scratch, and own every user-facing surface: our mobile app, website, and internal tools.
- We want someone who designs fast, thinks in systems, and treats AI as a core part of their workflow, not a novelty. If you use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Lovable, or Bolt to go from idea to functional prototype in hours instead of weeks, you'll fit right in.
- You'll work directly with the founding team. Your work ships to real users from day one.

**What You'll Do**

- Own end-to-end product design across mobile, web, and internal tools, from problem framing and user research through wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and post-launch iteration
- Build and maintain 30 Sundays' design system from scratch: tokens, components, patterns, documentation
- Use AI-powered tools (Cursor, v0, Lovable, Bolt, Figma AI, Claude) to rapidly prototype, explore visual directions, and compress the design-to-feedback loop
- Conduct user research, usability tests, and interviews to validate design decisions with real behavior, not assumptions
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to ensure designs ship as intended, with pragmatic tradeoffs when needed
- Iterate continuously based on user feedback, analytics, and A/B testing insights
- Present work clearly and articulate design rationale to non-designers, including founders and engineers

**What We're Looking For**

- 4+ years of professional experience in product design, with at least 2 years at a B2C product company
- Hands-on use of AI tools in your actual workflow, prototyping with Cursor/v0/Lovable/Bolt, research synthesis with Claude/ChatGPT, asset generation with Midjourney/Firefly. Not just awareness, but daily integration.
- Strong visual design sensibility, 30 Sundays is an aspirational travel brand; the product needs to feel premium and emotionally resonant, not just functional
- Expert-level Figma proficiency: components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, design systems
- Mobile-first thinking, our core product is a mobile app; you think in native patterns, gestures, and constraints
- Strong product thinking, you identify the right problem to solve, not just execute briefs
- Degree in Design from a recognized institute (NID, NIFT, or equivalent) or a portfolio that demonstrates equally strong design foundations
- Good communication, you articulate design decisions clearly to people who don't speak design

**Bonus**

- Experience in travel, hospitality, or lifestyle domains
- Motion and interaction design skills (micro-interactions, transitions, scroll behaviors)
- Have been the sole or first designer at a company before
- An eye for editorial or visual storytelling, we care deeply about aesthetics
- Can build functional prototypes from Figma designs using AI coding tools

Work SetupGurugram, on-site. This is an early-stage startup, small team, high ownership, fast pace. You'll have more influence over the product than most designers get in their entire careers, but it comes with the intensity that early-stage work demands.
CompensationCompetitive base salary + meaningful ESOPs. We're looking for someone who is excited about the ownership and equity upside of being a founding team member.

## Organization
- Name: 30 Sundays
- Website: www.30sundays.club
- Industry: Travel Arrangements
- Size: 51-200 employees
- Founded Year: 2024
- Description: 30 Sundays is an AI-native travel company rebuilding the consumer experience for holiday packages.

Our philosophy is simple: learn first, book second. We want you to really experience a destination before you book it.

That philosophy shaped our App. Before you commit to anything, you see the things that decide whether a day is good or wasted. How crowded a place will be when you arrive. How long the drive really takes. How long you'll queue. Where to eat nearby. The kind of detail you'd usually only discover once you were standing there.

Then the itinerary itself is in video form. You see the experiences, the hotels, the drive, the sunset spot, instead of reading a PDF. And you can make changes instantly: swap a day, slow the pace, add a beach—no days of back and forth with a travel agent.

Our customers have backed us more than anyone has: an NPS of 67 and a 4.6 Google rating. The best part is that they keep coming back, and they referring us to their friends :).

30 Sundays is built by old friends who reunited over love for travel. They also happen to come from Apple, BCG, IIT, IIM, Flipkart, Jabong, Oyo and Shuttl.

30 Sundays is backed by reputed investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Info Edge Ventures, First Cheque, and Eximius Ventures.
