**About the Role**

We’re hiring a Community Manager to build our community from zero to gravity.

This role owns the creation, culture, and compounding of the Felix community — starting with users and founders in India, and expanding globally over time. You will design the systems, norms, and rituals that turn early believers into advocates, and advocates into a durable network.

This is a pre-product role. There is no inherited audience, no existing playbook, and no momentum to borrow from. You are expected to create the surface area, populate it with the right people, and make it worth staying.

You will also be our outward-facing evangelist — deeply embedded in other high-signal founder and tech communities — representing Felix publicly, credibly, and consistently, while funnelling aligned people back into our Discord.

**The Day-to-Day**

- Build and own the Felix Discord end-to-end: structure, onboarding, moderation, norms, and culture

- Seed the community from scratch by sourcing and inviting high-quality users and founders

- Actively participate in relevant external communities (founder groups, tech Discords, podcasts, private networks) and represent Felix as a thoughtful, non-spammy, high-signal presence

- Evangelise Felix through conversation, contribution, and reputation — not blasts or cold outreach

- Design and run community programming: discussions, AMAs, early access groups, feedback loops, and experiments

- Be the first line of support for early users and founders, ensuring fast, human, high-context responses

- Identify power users and early champions; deepen 1:1 relationships and pull them into the core

- Translate community signal into product, narrative, and strategy inputs for the founding team

- Track and reason about community health: engagement quality, repeat participation, contributor depth, and sentiment

- Over time, help define and lead a small community team as the scope expands

**What We’re Looking For**

- Proven experience building or running an online community with real engagement, ideally from an early or zero state

- Deep familiarity with Discord as a platform: moderation, structure, bots, workflows, and culture

- Strong written communication — you can sound intelligent, warm, precise, and credible across contexts

- Natural presence in founder, operator, and tech communities; people trust your taste and signal

- High social intuition: you understand status, incentives, norms, and when to intervene vs. let things evolve

- Comfort being visible and opinionated while still representing the company responsibly

- Ability to operate independently in a pre-product environment with minimal structure

- Interest in eventually leading or shaping a community function, not just executing tasks
